title of the poem and poet's name appeared and then lines are visible while
recitation. I wandered lonely as a cloud that floats on the high o'er vales and
hills, when all at once I saw a crowd, a host of golden daffodils; Beside
the lake, beneath the trees, fluttering and dancing in the breeze. continuous as
the stars that shine and twinkle on the milky way, they stretched in never
ending line along the margin of a bay: Ten thousand saw I at a glance, tossing
their heads in sprightly dance. The waves beside them dances ; but they out-did
the sparkling space in glee: A poet could not but be gay, in such a jocund
company: I gazed-and gazed- but little thought what wealth the show to me had
brought: for oft when on my couch I lie in vacant or in pensive mood, They
flash upon that inward eye which is the bliss of solitude; And then my heart
with pleasure fills, and dances with the daffodils. Hope all of you recited the
poem. Do you notice any difficult words in the poem? These are the new words;
1. floats – moves easily or lightly. 2. Vales- valleys 3. Host – a large number

the breeze. They were spread out in long rows along the border of the lake and
looked very happy. The flowing breeze made the daffodils flutter and it seemed
as if they were dancing. Hope, you all get the idea clear. Shall I ask some

wandering, what did he see? 2. Who is compared to lonely cloud in the Poem? 3. What
was fluttering in the breeze? 4. “I saw a crowd” Here ‘crowd' is referred to
